Our approach to claims
We take a proactive approach to providing claims support for our clients. Your claims team are part of your advisory team from day one, putting claims management and prevention at the forefront of your insurance programme. We believe your adviser should stand alongside you should the worst arise.
You have access to a claims team that has many years of experience adjusting claims for insurers and working on client’s behalf, preparing, presenting, and negotiating complex claims for our clients. We work proactively with our clients to support them through the claims process.

We don’t stand on the sidelines waiting for the worst to happen – your claims team can take a proactive approach to help prevent losses, working with our broking team to provide unique insight and experience when designing your insurance programme, being a part of your journey with Monteith from the very beginning.
Nonetheless, if the worst happens, we will work collaboratively with you to understand the scope and extent of loss, identify immediate needs and support a decision-making process to ensure that you and/or your business is able to quickly recover from the impact of a significant loss.
Pre-loss Claims Services
Claims Defensibility; Your specialist claims team can evaluate your business and provide a report to identify what training, records, and challenges around enforcement are necessary to defend claims – supporting your insurance placement.
Claims Review; We can review any employers’ liability, public liability, products’ liability or professional indemnity claim in order to provide an expert opinion on policy and legal liability as well as the accuracy of the insurer’s strategy to support our clients and optimise placement.
